Lost
When you lost something, how would you have it back?
Lord, when will this stop? how long will it take? I am so worrying about my brothers. Wolves are attacking, taking my brothers away, and my heart is burning. When will this stop? Lord, how can I save them back? Shall I keep in this silence? Again and again? Oh, Lord, my God, you have mercy. Forgive my sickness without your wisdom, but cover my brothers, please, cover my brothers, don’t let them fall in the fire but save them back, please, save them back!
Such a beautiful day that we have been dancing in Your love. So beautiful, so beautiful in the air of your spirit. For the first day we soar in your love in your new place which you prepared for us. This is such a wonderful day!
Vancouver is a multicultural and a very beautiful city. Since about one year ago, I have been thinking of building this website for Vancouver, actually, not only for Vancouver, but also for all the people who care about love and peace in our world.
Although on our planet there are many poverties, collisions, fires of hatred and wars among our nations, we can still see love among different cultures and peace in this small city of Vancouver. People from many nations come to Vancouver. They immigrate here, visit here, study here or work here. Many of them may be leaving here soon, and going back to the places where they are from. We meet them and see them off. Every time, when we say goodbye, wave hands, and walk apart, tears just come up from heart.
Vancouver seems to be not just a city but also a symbol of a place where our cultures, our thoughts, our minds flow through one another. It’s not just about a world of many nations of different cultures, but also a world of our societies, our communities, our families of different thoughts and beliefs, and also a world in our heart of many struggles of left and right, or to live and die, which are leading our lives to rise or kill. But love, which is from the very beginning, can bring us back in one, the original one, the beautiful, peaceful and powerful one.
The “darkness” is working too. Our worlds are disturbed, separated, rejected and even worse in “flood”, “famines” or on “fires”. You also see lot of killings and suicides. We have many names, old or new, of righteousness, Gods, idols, wisdoms and powers, and believe them, worship them, and follow them. We are proud of our achievements, fortune, cultures, wisdom, science and technologies, or maybe also the “secret” knowledge of spiritual world, or boasting our “good relationship” with God.
But we failed. In the sea of our world, we are frozen, and sinking. And in our heart, many times, the dreams are awaken when there comes the falling star.
“I am weary with my moaning; every night I flood my bed with tears; I drench my couch with my weeping.(Psalm6:6)”.
We are thinking….What is Truth? What is Light? What is Love? what are they worthy of? What is God? If you are there, why am I taking this cup…
We may remember the Bible stories of Eden(Genesis2:4-25,3:1-24) and Babel (Genesis11:1-9). I am a Christian, but not now trying to persuade you to believe the stories. While, at least, you may understand the meanings of the stories, which indeed apply in us.
Just as Light is never dark, Truth never lies, the same, “Love never ends (1Corinthions13:8)”. Let’s walk together, for the worlds of our nations, our societies, our families, for the true life and our love, hand in hand, heart in heart.
